So glad I have this blog..free to speak my mind..

Just venting a bit..I applied for a local blog at a town neighboring where I live..The person that contacted me sent a short message..What town are you in? I was honest and told her and said there were no blogs for my town..no response..well gee..rude and not able to write a decent email..maybe I don't want to be on your stupid blog..ahh well..everything happens for a reason..just annoyed me..oh well I've learned ..always the hard way to make my own path..and not expect people to open doors for me..cuz usually they don't..

How'd you sleep last night? me, so so..I've never been a great sleeper..so I had an idea to make a nice spray..Lavender Spray..Lavender is known for it's relaxing qualities..take a spray bottle..I filled it almost full with filtered water and added 15 drops of Young Living Lavender Essential oil.(I used a 1 oz bottle).you can add any scent you want..you can use it as a room scenter..spray your linens..or just because you want a little lift..try it..

Queen of leftovers..

I was thinking, I should start a blog about cooking with leftovers..so here I go..A blog post about cooking with leftovers..Money is very tight currently, so I've learned to use leftovers.
Today I made Potato Salad..I had some leftover red potatoes that I bought from a farm stand..I boiled them..threw in a vadalia onion..some garlic..let all that boil for about 10 mins..I added some left over mayo..left over dijon mustard..pickle juice..some cut up pickles..mix all together while still warm..then let cool in refrigerator..viola..potato salad..

So before you throw out those left overs..see where you can use them..just make sure the food isn't spoiled and always read dates on the containers..
