Finding my way...

Well it's been awhile since I've blogged..
I was watching Julie and Julia at my mother's house tonite..and it reminded me to start blogging again..Blogging is just journaling but publically..My last blog entries were on positive affirmations..Unfortunately I'm not in the same mental space that I was when I wrote them..although I'm working my way back..See I've been going thru a depression of some sorts since October of last year..and I've been trying to find my way back..I've gone thru depressions thru out my life..but this is the first time I didn't just take the pills the doctor gave me like a good little dope addict..Although it's taking longer to get back to my so called normal..but I do miss a good nights sleep..I'm trying to do it naturally..which is difficult..I'm sipping on a glass of red wine..which by the way is good for inducing sleep..1 GLASS..too much has the opposite effect..I've also been taking 3 omega guards by Shaklee daily..I've read that fish oil benefits the brain and has been studied to help depression..Although you do need to take at least 1000 mg daily with a high EPA and DHA of Omega 3s..I've been suffering from insomnia and depression since October of 2009..although the sleep is slowly coming back..I've read that a glass of milk before bedtime has tryptophan which is wonderful for inducing sleep..So I've done my research of foods that are helpful for sleep and build serontonin in the brain..I've learned that mangos which are delish are wonderful..Bananas..pumpkin seeds..brazil nuts..TURKEY..yeah that's why you pass out after Thanksgiving dinner..dairy..yogurt..here's to finding my way back to health and good nights sleep..CHEERS..
